Employee resource allocation is really bad - if not really careful the possibility of getting pushed into a bad project is very high and at the time of appraisal the favor we did will get ignored very easily.
No or minimal salary appraisals - and we can come across all sort of funny reasons (and may also hear about some mysterious normalization which no one knows if and when it happens). So whoever is considering this company better do a good at salary negotiation before accepting any offer.
The company has surprisingly high number of dumb or bad managers – especially in the middle management level. A majority of project management mostly confines to task tracking and not much real planning - so project success almost fully depends on the technical team.
The company being just another underdog consulting company trying to play and survive in the big league most new projects seems to be under-quoted in terms of time and/or billing amount - and the entire teams bear the brunt of it. And partly this is the reason for a sub standard compensation for most of the employees.
