Pros

Good commission for a retail sales job. High performers were able to pick their schedule.

Cons

Commission changed regularly, which always resulted in sales representatives getting paid less. Company put blame of decreased sales primarily on sales associates, when most of the blame was due to a sub par product being sold for the same price as better products (i.e. Verizon 4G availability being much better than US Cellular). Weekly team meetings were typically used to scold sales representatives as opposed to training and development. It was so difficult to hit quota that sales associates rarely took vacation due to inability to sell while away from store. The store manager I worked with was incredibly incompetent, rarely at work, and disrespectful to sales associates. Though I had a bachelors degree and worked in a professional manner, I never felt I was treated as a professional by my supervisors.

Pros

Great atmosphere, benefits and nice base pay..

Cons

Hours are all over the place and new comission structure is making hitting a nice commission payout much tougher
