      Pros

      Tend to give a portion of the bonus even for years when they shouldn't.

      Cons

      You have to Stakeholder so much before a meeting or a decision can be made - makes getting things done twice as long and way to much time then is needed. Everyone must have a voice and it is very consensus driven. Corporate holiday schedule is minimal aligned to when the retail stores are closed. Often goes through reorganization and lay-offs. High turn over for new employees - difficult to fit into their culture.

      The Dynamic Organization culture allows you to be a contributor and learner. Management shares and acknowledges everyone that contributes to their success. Great benefits on Day One!

      Cons

      Nothing that would flag this company any differently than any salaried position at other corporations of this size.

      Very strong culture based on the concept of the "Dynamic Organization" introduced by former CEO Jack Rooney. You've likely never worked in a place like this! Stong & passionate leaders guide associates based on a defined set of Values and Behaviors with a constant focus on growth and customer satisfaction

      Cons

      As a regional wireless carrier, U.S. Cellular competes against the 4 national carriers in an industry that spends more money on advertising than any other ~ so it is in an uber-competitive environment. With limited financial resources in a regulated industry, U.S. Cellular can only do so much to grow the business and attract new/switching customers.
