Pros

Generous commission and pay relative to required experience, flexible scheduling, sense of community in stores, low pressure environment, can learn quite a bit about sales, technology, and business if motivated to do so.

Cons

Co-workers and management can be a bit dramatic, the company changes commission structure periodically which can be stressful and create uncertainty, general issues with working for a corporation including periods of micromanagement, especially when a new policy is being implemented.

Pros

For the most part, the company is willing to work with your schedule. I am a full time student and work part time. My coworkers also go to school and our store works to give us fixed schedules.

Cons

1. the pay. I have worked with companies that pay double for the same job that I have here The hourly pay used to be fine, because the job was just sales. Slowly the company got rid of Service Techs, giving that role to the already there sales people. Then the inventory position was taken away from stores, so now the job of keeping up with orders and packages falls on the sales people. The job is Sales, so being off the floor impacts the Associates ability to make sales. That would not be a big deal if they paid the associates more for the tasks they have had to pick up. 2. The Commission Structure. Understandably, companies change the structure to fit changing demands, but the way the company has changed the structure, along with changing the sales associate dynamic makes it increasingly difficult to reach the quotas, let alone hitting above the target. 3. Communication is Terrible! The communication in the West region is terrible. Information to the front line associates from management is non existent.

Compensation for sales was great. Benefits were great.

Cons

Management became more business oriented than people oriented. No more Dynamic leadership. Micro management. Compensations were dropped.
