Pros

Offers really good benefits. Holiday schedule is good. This is a good place to start fresh out of school and get experience. Flexible schedule.

Cons

A lot of politics. no room for growth. low salaries. Would not recommend staying here for more than 1 year. Unless you are planning on staying in academics there is nothing that will be good enough. A bunch of professors covering each other's backs.

Pros

Great insurance and health care benefits. Not incredibly stressful work environment. Seems like a government job, for better and worse.

Cons

The pay is ok but not great compared to similar universities/hospitals. Parking is inconvenient and expensive. Due to being a government run organization, it is bureaucratic and overly structured, sometimes giving advancement opportunities based on length of employment rather than talent.

Pros

NO supervision and Management could care less what you do

Cons

If the careless AFRO centric management does not like you...you are gone. If you are in an afro centric team ...forget it! They will despise you.
