Great place to work

Pros

UWCU is a great place to work and very flexible. My branch manager had a great personality and was funny, so work never felt tense or corporate-like. My co workers were awesome and we had regular members who came in everyday so I began to develop some pretty cool relationships. They also give you a paid day off for your birthday which is nice and the pay was very competitive for the position.

Cons

Moving up and being promoted can be difficult due to the competitive applications and a lot of co-workers with great abilities. Since it is a credit union, it can be very slow most of the day and become boring, so I'd recommend either bringing a book or finding a fun website you can hangout on most of the shift. The managers aren't too strict on what you browse as long as it's appropriate and you are attentive to every member in branch
