      Employees on the floor are extremely rude, constantly give dirty looks. I was hired while in nursing school and dropped out because I decided I did not want any part of a toxic environment like this.

      Well it’s UW so a good place to get experience and the pay is respectable.

      Cons

      Fairly hostile to be honest. So much talking behind other people’s backs (patients and colleagues) . I know I’m not left out as I’ve walked up on someone speaking I’ll of me. A lot of passive aggression from NAs who like to sleep on the job or be on their social media. This BS is co-signed by charge nurse and other RNs (probably because there is so much character assassination they don’t want to fall victim to it). Really suspect patient assignments. You can tell which nurses are favored nations. If you’re over forty I’d choose another hospital. Very exclusive, and young culture.

      Wonderful benefits package. Decent time -off allocation. Above average training programs but little to no time for continuing development.

      Cons

      Required to plan your next year time off in October of the previous year. 1-2 employees allowed off on any given day for 35+ member team. Excessivly Metric driven to the point that the "human factor" is not taken into consideration.
