      Pros

      This is a large healthcare organization with a lot of opportunities to move around and potentially advance your career. There are some amazingly talented people who work in the organization.

      Cons

      It's too large. It's like working for a slow, lumbering beast. UW shouldn't stand for the University of Wisconsin, but should, in fact, stand for U Wait. There are so many layers that must be navigated to get anything accomplished and many of the managers, directors, and upper tier leadership are only out to increase their own power. There is a complete lack of communication and no clear direction.

      Top notch specialists and amazing care for patients, advancement opportunities in certain areas

      Lack of employee engagement, poor executive leadership, poor working mother support (only 1 week paid maternity leave and no back up care)
