I had a manager who was terrible. Without any warning, management eliminated the project manager position and transitioned all PMs to another job role, essentially resulting in a demotion.

It's a customer service job with a medical label, so the cons of that type of position. PTO and Sick leave you have to earn it isn't what you have at the beginning. Senior leadership's vision is unclear. If you want to have work boundaries respected you may want to go elsewhere. Respect for people is what they stand for, but it doesn't go both ways as indicated as often the one they ask you not to respect is yourself. It can be a good job, but it is very hierarchal and bureacratic. Stick it out if you can, go elsewhere if you can't sort of morale thrives here.
