      Reasonable expectations, managers are involved and listen to your feedback, positive atmosphere to work in, rude employees are not tolerated by the company in general.

      Pay could be a bit better.

      Pros

      Base pay is way better than you will get at any retail pharmacy.

      Cons

      If you are per diem/PRN staff you cannot request off under any circumstances. Schedules are made about 6 weeks in advance of your shift, and it can be nearly impossible to get someone to take your shift even with a month notice if you work in a unit that doesn't have a lot of extra staff.

      Pros

      Good pay per pay period. Call every 5th weekend Friday from 7-Monday 7am; one late night each week. Start 7am-5:30pm.

      Cons

      Inability to change schedule; short staffed. Schedule changes are almost impossible. Must have PTO to do anything (apts, sick days, vacations, surgeries)… etc. most mornings lab does not start until 8:30am. Lots of tedious work for downtime. Not a good job if you have children, or busy home life schedule.
