      Parking costs 950-1400 dollars for the year. The hospital strictly cares about clinicians/providers and nurses- laboratory staff are constantly overlooked, overworked and underpaid. Constant turnover- either waiting 5 years to get vested in the WRS and plan to leave the institution or counting down until retirement because it’s easier to stay. Little to none advancement opportunities. Does not match 401k until 5 years of employment. Paid parental leave of 1 week- or plan to accrue and use all of your PTO to cover the rest of the time you’re at home adjusting to a major life event. Base pay is higher at other hospitals in the city.
