UW Health is a great organization with a strong mission and overall positive work culture. My home unit was very supportive, collaborative, and well-managed, which made the job enjoyable and rewarding. Coworkers were kind and helpful, and I felt valued as part of the team. Great place to gain healthcare experience.

Cons

Work culture and management vary significantly by unit. Floating was often challenging, as some units had less supportive or even hostile environments. Experiences can be inconsistent depending on leadership and unit culture.

State retirement system- pension after retirement. Benefits are affordable Pay is very competitive CEO is transparent about companies progress in the market Lots of room for advancement or transfer to other units
