Fun, Flexible work environment

Pros

Unboxed takes good care of its employees -- from the unlimited snacks, drinks, and coffee to the encouraging, weekly staff meetings where managers give "shout outs" and everyone celebrates successes together. Only place I've ever worked where I felt work-life balance was important to the top executives. Full time employees get 6 weeks PTO + holidays.

Cons

You will have to be flexible and wear a lot of hats - but I consider that a perk.

Pros

Unboxed is relocating this month to a beautiful new office in downtown Richmond. We all are looking forward to our projected growth, current new business, and new surroundings. 2017 brought some some strong new hires that have strengthened the team, added to a positive culture, and been smart hires for the company. These new hires are mostly from growth, not back-filling.

Cons

None at this time.

Pros

Unboxed is a great place to launch a career. The people there are fun and helpful, plus they actually care about your personal success. The company has many events and gatherings that help the team relax, grow, and build relationships. Since the company is still small, there is opportunity to influence decisions and how things are done. They're always open to trying new things, new technologies, or different approaches to problems.

Cons

There are still some processes that aren't well defined and fluid. They are always trying to improve make them more efficient (and welcome suggestions to help).
