Additionally, the pressure to prioritize work over personal lives disrupts work-life balance and leads to burnout, as employees are expected to show unwavering commitment to the organization at the cost of their well-being. This company truly believes that mission and "the kids" come before ALL things and when you don't align yourself as die hard support of that commitment you are deemed "not a culture fit." You can literally feel when you are not liked and the pushes they begin to make to get you out are blatant. They have sneaky tactics to getting rid of team members ESPECIALLY around the Feb-April time frame if they want to cut a position and not backfill. Ideally, so they don't have to renew your contract of employment come July 1st. They'll PIP you on opinion based rubrics not rooted in true metrics/KPIs then offer a severance (as a voluntary leave) so you won't try to collect unemployment.
