Pros

The engineering organization has such a great culture. The leadership is amazing - they're supportive of personal and career growth and give room for plenty of healthy work life balance. As with any large company, this stuff is based on the team. Fortunately, engineering is small and therefore able to define it's own path. The organization uses lots of technologies, so there's always a ton to learn. It's clear that technology matters, but they also care a lot about the success of the business. The company runs on sports - sports metaphors, exciting videos to get you pumped up, clothing discounts, and encouragement to run and help test the apps. This doesn't suit everyone, but I think it's great fun! Additionally, Under Armour handled the 2020 pandemic well by shifting to remote work, and they started running sessions to help us understand racism and related issues (this has been insightful and interesting, personally).

Cons

As several other reviews state - engineering has never had a great relationship with product. That's mostly due to conflicting priorities at the top level. Individually, everyone is great to work with.

Pros

Great discount for full-time employees, good benefits.

Cons

No one leaves their positions so its hard tonget promoted. They expect you to be a worker bee and not challenge the status quo...

Pros

8 years ago it was great company, with lots of opportunities and growth. Working 4 - 10s and having 3 days off was great. Good relationships with peers and teammates.

Cons

The last 2 plus years have been the opposite of my pros. Due to top executive decisions of poor planning with inventory and lack of street innovation ideas, the company reduce labor to save on cost, also good senior management has left causing the remaining team to work extra days or harder to make up for the loss of labor.
