Going from start-up to corporation with so much potencial

Pros

Beautiful campus with many great amenities (cafeteria, gym, nutritionist on staff, etc.) A lot of potencial to make an impact- if you work hard and have the right manager, you can build a career. Team environment where we support each other and work together. Leadership really stepped it up for Women’s History month and has done a lot to try to change the culture.

Cons

Pay is not competitive unless you are a manager or above. We still overhear some Directors make inappropriate jokes. I’ve even seen some bully or act dismissive to female employees trying to put new structure in place or asking questions.

Pros

There are employees at UA, especially the ones who have been working there for 10+ years that really believe in the company and put their heart and soul in their job day to day. It's truly inspiring how much commitment they have to this brand.

Cons

However, there's little room for growth, especially salary wise at UA. Employees were willing to take a salary cut because of the prestigious name, but now that the name has taken a hit in the last year, there's little to no incentive to take a lower pay. With the lack of a work-life balance, lack of recognition for hard work, and extreme mismanagement in leadership, employee discounts on merchandise isn't enough to improve morale nor retain high performing employees.

Pros

50% discount on all product.

Cons

Gossipy atmosphere, childish decison making processes. Feels more like a high school mentality than an office. Extremely low compensation for entry to mid level employees. Unbalanced sense of promotion.
