      Pros

      AWESOME team atmosphere!!! Working here has made it easier for me to be a working mom. I have steady hours that allows me to drop off, and pick up my kids from school/daycare. I love that I get along with all my co-workers whether office staff, sales, service, or production. Working here has brought me a lot closer to my family because I am not missing out on those little moments that I was with my last job. UniFirst is a family, and working here a short amount of time I have been welcomed in to.

      I guess its all depends on the person, and I haven't ran into anything that I would be consider a CON.

      Working outside as with most sales positions

      Cons

      long hours, living under micro management. Lack of empathy. Promotes deception on all levels of management. Company mission statement contradicts mgnt. actions in integrity at all levels.

      Pros

      Great learning experience for anyone looking to begin a career in sales.

      Cons

      Industry that is not moving forward. Never give a two week notice. I have mine out of respect for the company, and they terminated me on the spot even though I led our region in sales 2 out of the last 3 months. The software is outdated. Upper management does not trust those who do the day to day selling, so access to account information is very limited giving very little selling advantage to its reps. 90% turnover in the last 4 months. Went from 10 reps down to 1 in a matter of months.
