Pros

Travel benefits. You, your parents, your dependent children, and your spouse get unlimited free flights on any Delta flight on a stand by basis.

Cons

Don't get treated as nicely or paid as much as mainline Delta, and at DGS, we usually do more work than they do at Delta for the same position.

Pros

Flight benefits, some of the co-workers are good, working for a global parent company, great ramp manager, at times getting to interact with the customers, being around planes in general.

Cons

pay, management, constant understaffing, very inconsistent coworker quality (they'll hire just about anyone at times), no say in any decisions or voicing of your opinion. The station seems to be going downhill fast. Turn over rate is very high perhaps because of the pay.

Pros

Some of the best reasons to work for DGS is that most of the employee were like family, we all helped each other to make the job an awesome place to work. I worked the ramp,but I also groomed the aircrafts, making sure that the aircrafts was fresh and clean for the passagners once they got on the aircraft. Also, the travel benifts were great.

Cons

one of the downsides for DGS that I can remember,was when a supv.told the emplyers that they could leave and go to lunch and she didn't know that she had several flights to come in.Supv. didn't have enough employers to cover those flights.
