Pros
Unified was a breath of fresh air to me after working for an extremely stodgy corporate culture. I loved the people, the fast-paced environment, the flexible hours and time off, the work (at the time), and the fact that they had an organization focused on gender equality in the workplace. The free snacks didn't hurt either! In the first half of my time there, the work was also exciting.
Cons
I'm actually changing up my review from 5 stars to 3 because by the time I left, the company turned into a shell of its former self. In my opinion, a lot of mismanagement and disfunction arose, some of which from growing pains, some from a revolving door of people getting pushed out or leaving. I hope for my former colleagues sake that things turn around, because the product has promise. However, things looked pretty bleak by the time I exited. Additionally, the benefits are just ok. For example, no 401K matching, no cashless transactions available for exercising options, etc.
