Pros

- Sound company culture, and terrific colleagues - Strong leadership, with a strong focus on transparency - Always learning, and in a very positive, supportive enviornment - You have the ability to work on multiple projects, and get involved in things that are important to you outside your typical job responsibilities - Great benefits and time off allowance - Managers are flexible, understanding, and supportive - LEAD - internal program dedicated an evolved conversation around gender equality / diversity is fantastic - Internal sub-committees for passions like culture, movie club, food clubs, etc. make working with colleagues you really like possible - Executives listed to feedback, aim to keep employees happy with perks around the office

Cons

The industry is constantly evolving and changing, you must be willing to learn, develop, and evolve with it! You have to be willing to stay sharp and on your toes in order to be successful at Unified.

Depends on your team...

Pros

Unlimited PTO 360 feedback system and solid opportunity to grow in roles visible and vocal founders who practice what they preach

Cons

-I agree with past reviews of nepotism because it's fairly easy for internal referrals to get near-immediate offers, and not uncommon for family members of SVPs to 'freelance', etc. -Culture is standard 'tech bro', but look at the outdated office -There is a clear variance in work/life balance between teams. Some teams like Product have the opportunity to WFH two days a week while on Opps it seems like it's up to a manager's discretion. Seems like a great benefit, but not something everyone can partake in and makes work/life balance difficult.

Pros

Independence! Support! Positivity! Culture of Learning! One thing that distinguishes Unified is that (at least on the Ops team) managers are not working on your accounts at a day to day level. Therefore, you are empowered to make your own decisions and own your own workflow! As someone who started at Unified early in my career, this was scary at first but ultimately taught me to be autonomous and figure things out on my own. At the same time, your manager supports you if you do need it. There is an extremely positive culture. People are constantly shouting each other out and thanking each other for their work. For me most importantly, I have been able to take control of my own professional growth at Unified and have been supported every step of the way.

Cons

In comparison to other available job opportunities in the industry (for example working at a Publisher like Facebook), Unified's benefits may not be a long term option for some people. Healthcare is not fully paid for, there is no 401k matching program, transportation (subway) is not paid for. While we do have stock options, they don't mean anything unless we go public.
