Pros

UCPS is a smaller district than its surrounding counties, however this allows you to have a voice and not feel like a number. UCPS provides opportunities for new employees to receive proper training and get to know other new teachers. They have a mentorship program.

Cons

Being a smaller district, they do not receive state of the art technologies, software programs, or mentorship programs. These items exists, however not as grand as the other major districts. Overall, great place to work for teachers.
