Pros

Good pay, decent benefits, medical, dental, prescription, 401k need to match though, tuition reimbursement, gym membership

Cons

Unstable work schedule/life, on call 24-7-365 with no set days off, they really do hide in the bushes while they watch you work! You're just a number.

Pros

Demanding work that matters. Lots of opportunities for parallel moves; a "hire to retire" organization. Interesting challenges every day. Contributions are recognized by management. Retirement and bonuses are extraordinary. 30 years of hard work and you're eligible for a pretty great retirement package. Mostly stable, 150-year-old company. Leader in the industry.

Cons

Lack of benefits, high stress, not a "fun" place by any stretch of the imagination. Pay is competitive but not stellar. Very buttoned-down and strict culture.
