Pros

Unipres has been a great place for me and my family. The hours were long when I first started there which was great for me then. But it has slowed over the years which has also been great now for the work life balance. Management in the maintenance department has been up and down, the current leadership is great, it is ran by guys that understand the machinery, the job duties of there techs and they are willing and able to help train and bring up there techs. Its a great place to work if you're willing to work.

Cons

Overall pay seems to be behind other local companies, but they usually catch up the following year to try and stay competitive. Management on the production floor has never been great, lots of turnover and it seems as though experienced operators and leaders were overlooked to fill those positions internally.

Pros

Very easy job to do, simply putting parts in a machine all day

Cons

They try to force overtime on you a lot and the biggest con is not getting paid. Over 6 times last year I didn’t get paid and had to then ring up for them to sort it out, then it takes up to a week to get it. No good when you arrange your direct debits for for actual pay day
