      Benefits were ok, but nothing to write home about.

      Executive management is disconnected from the business, lacks focus and doesn't understand the market or how to hire and retain premium talent.

      Great and Professional Company

      Pros

      -Very professional. Employer believes in a better workplace environment and has no tolerance for retaliation. -Employer has taught me many troubleshooting steps for desktop support in the service desk industry. They have helped me gain a better understanding for root causes within technical issues. -Opportunities to move up. -PTO. -Work-life balance.

      Cons

      -There is a minor communication barrier when Unisys sends out updates. However, lately, Unisys has been improving upon communication.

      It’s Not a Matter of If, but When

      Pros

      The people are great. I’ve met a lot of friends and smart engineers during my time here. Work/life balance is also great. It’s generally a very low stress environment. Employees are frequently encouraged to take vacation and breaks.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, it’s not a matter of if, but when this company is going out of business. There’s consistently been layoffs every year that I’ve worked here. Employee turnover is always very high because of this, which leads to low morale amongst everyone. Even though Unisys is primarily involved in a dying business, I attribute these issues to very poor management. I truly believe that upper management has no idea what they're doing. Total compensation is bad (base salary in particular). I tried for the longest time to convince myself otherwise, but it’s undeniable when you start to look at what other tech companies offer. Depending on what team/project you are placed on, you could be working with an extremely outdated and proprietary tech stack.
