Pros
For an experienced hire: 1. They simply expect you to do a good job. None of the stupid rah rah exercises. 2. The employment rating is fairly simple. At the end of the day, they just look at whether you have done a good job.
Cons
1. This is not a job where you are trying to go up in the ladder. Most probably you can, but as a tech professional, I want to be paid well and not go into management. 2. This loose structure may not work for everyone.
