      Grim outlook - cannot recommend

      Pros

      Opportunities to advance career and contribute. Recent shift to metrics focus provides better visibility to performance and contributions.

      Cons

      Company has been on a slow downward spiral with no end in sight. Constant downsizing and offshoring of high performing talent has killed moral and created an environment of keeping your head down and protecting your piece of the pie. Salary freezes for years leaves long time employees significantly underpaid. HQ is a ghost town after all of the headcount reductions.

      Pros

      This is a good place for junior technical professionals to get some large enterprise experience. There is good exposure to large clients and various solutions. Pay was reasonable and benefits were ok. Some staff were able to work there a long time. Time will tell if Altabef can stop the continued decline of Unisys over the last decade.

      Cons

      Company is highly siloed so you may see different experiences from staff in different areas.The company lacks vision and trails the market (for years now) with too much attention to short term stock price at the expense of long term growth. You'll work as much as you allow. Can't change a dinosaur, so don't hesitate to go elsewhere when you can take it no longer.

      Pros

      None, after eight years I'm leaving Unisys.

      Cons

      No cost of living raise for three years, received small raise last year but still way below market rates. High deductible health plan which covers only the basics.
