Pros
Unisys has three verticals/divisons, like Unisys services, Unisys Products(Called INTC) and Unisys APD (Application Development). When you are attending interview check with HR team, For which division are they hiring? I do not have any idea on Unisys Services. I want to elaborate more on INTC Bangalore: Unisys has own Products, which are 30 to 40 years old products. Most of the INTC team works on these Outdated products ofcourse company getting revenue from these products. But here as an employee you need to think about your career, learning and daily work. If you work in such products what you will learn? In this INTC group, average employee age is above 38 year old and you will not find fresh minds, all are outdated employees and their experience in Unisys itself will be minimum 8 to 10 years. These outdated employees are very dangerous for the laterals as they will not give you product KT properly as they are scared about their Jobs. In this INTC team, All the projects especially from testing team shows fake data to management. They Show their test case count is around 3000 but if you check in tool it will be less than 1000 test cases (not even 100 test cases are up to date). They show that 1800 test cases are automated but if you verify you will not find not even 500 test cases. In those 500 automated test case not even 50 test cases works end to end. Their framework is very very poor, for that they got award, just think how easily managers and thier team fooling the next level management (Directors level). These testers simply pass the test cases without executing it and sends the data to australia team who are leading it, i do not know why autralia team is not asking question about their regression suites and about automation data. About Managers: In INTC test team, there are around 5 to 6 managers.few managers work is not to track the progress of the project instead they highlight themselves in Marathons, Body fitness and some other show off stuffs. Being test managers they do not have any idea about diffrent test metrics, testing process and methodolgies. Instead they are very good in fooling the management without any data. Even higher management knows that teams are sending fake data, but still keeping quite. New CTO has to take an action on all these malfunctioning testing activities and also on unskilled managers.
Cons
All of the above. No career growth No latest technology.
