Pros

Hours, pay was "decent", company vehicle, enjoyed working with other employees at the branch, certain members of management got "it", others, not so much. Enjoyed the interaction with customers in the field, had a lot of great friendships.

Cons

too much to mention really, Micro management, no loyalty to employees, intimidating tactics, unreasonable goals and demands, if you werent one of the "butt smoochin employees", your time is limited. Paperwork paperwork paperwork......Disappointment in the way i was treated

Pros

Different stuff every day, lots (!LOTS) of overtime, interesting situations.

Cons

As an operations (driver or technician) employee, it is easy to get the feeling that corporate wishes they could just subcontract your entire department. Only sales and management get any recognition or development, and it can be very challenging to move from ops to sales. Also, when you rely on overtime, things like vacations or illnesses can devastate your income. You will always be running two steps behind, without the proper training or tools to do the job right.

Pros

If you are interested in seeing how all that theory in college applies to real world business, then apply for an inside sales position. This is not for the faint of heart. You will see first hand how a business is ran from top to bottom. Best in class industry leader. I spent a long time here and have seen it improve time and time again. Do not go into this company thinking you will be a manager or a sales rep. You work hard and the company will reward you with the challenge you can handle.

Cons

You can jump into a hornets nest if you aren't careful. Meet with as many "managers" as possible. You will likely work 60 to 70 hours a week in peek season(spring-summer-fall). Construction/Industrial industry is not very politically correct. They are ruff around the edges.
