Pros

Good pay Good benefits Great coworkers No less than 40 hours per week

Cons

Corporate only cares about numbers and not employees Safety is not as much of a concern to them as they say Making a rental is more important than the safety of the employee, customer and anyone else around.

Pros

A VERY healthy corporate culture comprising - Safety -Diversity - Inclusion - mentorship and growth There are opportunities to move into new departments/regions anywhere in the country to learn new disciplines as well as access promotions There are incentive programs and bonuses depending on the level in the company

Cons

Still a "boys club" where men are allowed to fail forward while women have to come to each role already developed for the role Slow adaptation of the growing need for diversity at the senior levels

Pros

Great learning experience. Diversity of equipment that they stock with training seminars from OEM companies. As a field service tech there was very little micro managing. Can open a lot of doors if you're looking to move to another company since you interact with so many customers. Good health insurance. Standard 2 weeks of vacation(use it or lose it policy) and 1 week of sick pay.

Cons

The list is long for cons as a field service tech in the portland metro area. Pay is low compared to industry standard. Mid level techs will earn 20 to 23 an hour. Less if youre in the shop. They tend to bring you in at a low wage and make you work a ton of OT. The big part i didnt think was ethical is they run lean on manpower and managment openly admits we need more people but when review time comes around they use the metrics your team didnt meet as a reason not to give you a raise (pre covid). Overall the amount of responsibility/skill for this position did not comensurate with pay.
