Pros

Large company that has different departments that you can get into and learn new skills.

Cons

A lot of hardworking people have left and been let go which has brought the morale down. There is no more caring for the employees just more work piled on and more stress.

Pros

Great benefits, improvement of infrastructure, opportunities for growth. Largest rental equipment company.

Cons

Horrible management teams in the branch and district offices. Lack of importance when it comes to personnel matters. Cannot make a decision when it comes to terminating employees and makes it harder for managers to improve the culture. Does not support its managers they can be insulted and branch manager would rather take the employees word over yours. Most divisions are good but the mobile and storage division is a recent acquirement and have not changed their ways. HR does not evaluate personnel matters in a fair and impartial way.

Pros

United Rentals has a great culture. It's also growing a lot. With growth, there's a lot of opportunity for new roles and responsibilities.

Cons

Given how fast the company is growing, it sometimes feels like more resources are needed. Management is good about listening and trying to get more resources quickly.
