Pros

Don't have any at all.

Cons

Super micromanagement. This branch has been set up to fail. First of the year they cut our wages and broke our contract, forcing us to work 8 days on, 6 days off at 12 hours a day. Transport equipment is older and constantly breaking down, severely short on mechanics so the guys on shift have to bust there ass all day to try to meet company demanded goals. Poor moral, everyone will be quitting soon.

Pros

A good name and respected in the industry. Decent fleet of equipment. Fairly good community involvement. Highly experienced qualified people who absolutely know their business.

Cons

Became highly micro managed. It seems mangements goal is to see how many hours and production they can force out of people by insisting on mandatory meetings at 6:30 am so as to not impact the business day. Mandatory Debriefing everyday at 5:30 to go over the days sales calls, asking who was seen, what was discussed and what is your plan for the next call on this customer. It got to where we were making reports about reports, meetings about reports. The paper work that had to be completed became more important than serving the customer and renting equipment. So I quit.

Pros

The salary and benefits are good.

Cons

The upper management thinks they can set nationwide policies and procedures that will fit all 600 branches of the company, regardless of the markets. They have everything they do written down in policy and procedure bulletins, but the rules are routinely ignored, and if you report it you are subject to retaliation by your manager. They just eliminated another batch of people, and they picked some of the best people to get rid of, thinking they can get the same job done with less people, or that they can hire idiots for less money. We'll see how it works for them.
