Pros

Benifits are second to none. Competative compensation. The company seems to care for their employees and the support at each branch is like none i've seen before. I have been afforded the opportunity to work my territory and manage it with only positive direction from management.

Cons

Any cons i have had have been addressed by management and resolved to the benifit of myself and the Company. UR has their best interest at heart but they understand that their employees are what makes UR sucessful.

Pros

I am very happy with the way the company takes care of its employees. From compensation to employee safety and happniess, United Rentals puts its employees first. At the corporate level our leadership they have strategic steps to ensure the financial health of our business. At the branch level, I have a fantastic branch manager and could not be happier.

Cons

The only con I would say is that the cost of our benefits went up year over year. I understand some of this is due to the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, but UR has attempted to offset these costs. We do not have a very good training program for new hires (from branch managers, OSR's, ISR's, or technicians) which only hinders our company.

Pros

United Rentals has been a great place to work. They offer excellent career opportunities, and great pay and benefits. One thing that has stood out to me is there willingness to advance employees based on merit and not on tenure. You work hard here, you get rewarded.

Cons

Tough to say. The hours can be long, but that's to be expected when the company is willing to put so much responsibility in your hands.
