Pros

Staff is a good group of people that care about each other and community, Team has great intentions and is committed to the mission of improving lives in Maricopa County. Board leadership is impressive and a very influential group.

Cons

Organization continues to face declining revenue which limits resources for staff and led to reduction in force yet leadership has not scaled back the initiatives. This has led to staff working excessive hours, turnover is higher and staff satisfaction is low.

Pros

Work-life balance. Pay for nonprofit work is good. Benefits are good. Name recognition and community relationships.

Cons

Not a good place if you're young and want to be innovative or advance your career. Very much a traditional, corporate-like environment. Good if you're well into your career, are close to retirement, or are looking for stability. A lot of turnover.
