      Pros

      While I had a bad time at Unitrends, some of the people there are great and actually care about you as a person and not a number.

      Cons

      This place was becoming a joke. They wanted to expand the customer support office but fired many of their customer support engineers. And HR is a joke. They are there to protect the company's butt not help the employees. It was becoming a clique and fast. They grew out of their britches too fast and weren't prepared for what came next.

      Pros

      I enjoy seeing the work I do become woven into the fabric of the company. This is a place where they hire professionals and empower them to take the reins and perform. The company has evolved a great deal during my near 5 year tenure and I can say without a doubt it has been the best professional ride of my career. Unitrends has never been better.

      Cons

      We are building something amazing here and with that will come some bumps. You have to expect them, learn and use them to become better. To succeed you have to be motivated by the journey of success and be willing to work through ambiguity and ask tough questions. I don't see this as a con but as a challenge to people currently on or looking to join the team. It's not for everyone but for those who like it here's a warning: IT IS ADICTING!

      Pros

      "A great workplace is stunning colleagues". This famous line from a popular culture code, resonates at Unitrends. This is a place with an abundance of folks who want to win, who come in the morning wanting to do great work with great teammates. Whether it is customer support who bleed "CSAT" and are in pursuit of delighting every customer they support, or engineering or sales. Unitrends is a company that is bold to introspect, adapt and pursue excellence. If you want to be working in a company that rewards meritocracy, come work for Unitrends. I have been with the company for a long time and can vouch that Unitrends is an awesome place to be.

      Cons

      A growing company like Unitrends comes with its own set of challenges. We move fast, really fast, and if you don't have the dna to keep up and move quickly, you may not find the joy you are seeking at work. No company is perfect, and Unitrends has had growing pains, but the company adapts, pivots and aligns to course correct. But with all the cons, the Pros far outweigh and outnumber the cons.
