      UnityPoint is a larger employer so the health insurance is decent and with the healthcare shortage there are always hours open to work and make extra moneu

      Cons

      They are a business first don’t expect all the feel goods and expressions of appreciation

      Pros

      Like my coworkers. Great equipment. Nurse managers easy to work with concerning schedule.

      Cons

      Apparently there’s a nursing shortage but you wouldn’t know it looking at wages. Iowa now has the dubious honor of having the lowest pay in the country. Values and mission statements don’t decrease my cost of living. I plan on going back to U of I in the new year.

      Quality care in Peoria, have big plans to grow and will have opportunity

      Cons

      Don't really care about their employees and they are a new system and they are unorganized and there are different expectations depending on the affiliate.
