They know that keep a focus on the happiness and well-being of long-term employees helps translate into a customer service oriented environment that keeps long-term customers.

Cons

The last few years have brought on a more bean-counter mentality instead of focusing on what got us to the top.

Pros

Super steady work environment- no layoffs to speak of. Decent "open door" policy which allows you access to upper management- some of the middle management leaves a lot to be desired so this can be pretty helpful.

Cons

Negotiate your salary well when you start because raises are hard to come by. Very hard to move around within the company and limited room for promotions at the lower levels.
