      Pros

      Tactical focus at lower levels for customer service Good compensation vs industry to keep talent is probably the main reason why folks stay

      Cons

      Senior Leadership has no clue on what makes a chemical distributor tick No Strategy in place to differentiate from competition Strategic vision not valued at all

      Pros

      The pay is not too bad, and the benefits are as decent as the next. A good way to get your foot in the door.

      Cons

      There is little to no training; everything is very "hands off." People are being laid off and those left behind have to over compensate to fill in the holes. There's no room for growth or improvement. Much like other reviews, I agree there are too many people in management who do not know what they are doing. Raises are abysmal. For me, it's a job that pays the bills. I don't see myself making a career out of this place.

      Such a shame to see a good company ruined by Equity Firms

      Pros

      Prior to approximately 3 years ago, this company was generally a great place to work at. It wasn't perfect, but the problems were far outweighed by the great people working there then. Since then, the two equity firms that own it, and the management teams that they have brought it (and rotated through) have decided that absolutely nothing is as important to them as them trying to position the firm for an IPO. This is common knowledge now to anyone in the industrial chemicals sales field. This once great firm is now the laughing stock of the industry. This is such an embarrassment to us former employees.

      Cons

      Too many to list. I strongly, strongly suggest that you look elsewhere if you are considering working here. Life is just too short to deal with these types of people.
