Great atmosphere at work place, very nice and friendly people to work with.

Cons

There is no career opportunities, poor benefits, there is no balance between personal and work life, bad work time balance

Pros

Overall, great people to work with. Generally a very supportive culture at the lower level.

Cons

Management seems to change direction constantly, and not in an intelligent and nimble fashion. Pay was... ummm... negligible. Constant downsizing was demoralizing, but probably unavoidable at a major in the 200X/201X's. I had 5 different managers in 4 years.

Interesting and exciting work Fun and creative atmosphere Music - its kind of crazy to get paid to work in it Team If you work hard there is room to advance. I started off at a 'representative' level and had 3 raises and a promotion in less than 2 years Out of all the majors in my territory Universal seems to be the most adventurous, willing to try new things, be creative, etc Not too bureaucratic

Cons

Budget cuts have hurt the majors. The reality is less people doing more work. I'm willing to work hard, but there's a point where people need more support on their teams
