Pros

Constantly pushed to challenge yourself and learn how to grow under pressure. There are team-building activities if the company's goals are met. And teammates are generally friendly.

Cons

This role requires making nonstop calls like a robot under extremely demanding KPIs, which are frequently revised to increase pressure. It often feels like the company prioritizes short-term output over long-term employee growth. The constant cycle of hiring and firing creates a fast turnover workplace, rather than one that truly invests in its people. Unless you need visa sponsorship, this job isn’t worth it.

Hello! Thank you for your review. The Business Development Associate role is a challenging one because the primary KPI is making cold calls throughout the day to secure valid appointments with the merchant. The KPIs have been pre-calculated to hit the Company monthly targets and they are clearly outlined in the employment contract. They cannot be just revised suddenly to reach a short-term Company goal and hence the intention is never to just increase pressure. The comprehensive training period and probation period that Business Development Associates go through prepares them for handling pressure and hitting their targets; however, many don't and therefore get terminated. The Company aims to long-term invest on those employees, who have proven to be successful during their training period and continuously achieved their goals within the parameters described in their signed employment contract. As you have mentioned H1b sponsorship, please note it is definitely a sign of long-term investment.
