Thank you for your feedback. We're happy to hear your coworkers have been supportive and that you’ve had team members help mentor you on the job. That kind of teamwork is important to creating a workplace where people can learn and feel connected. We’re sorry the communication around your school schedule has felt inconsistent. Scheduling conversations should be clear and respectful of the availability already shared. We encourage you, if you haven’t already, to connect with your leader or Human Resources to review your availability and scheduling expectations together.

Pros

The hospital coverage and insurance (which include free medications) are strong benefits. I have worked with great coworkers, and many employees who genuinely care about helping patients and providing great patient service.

Cons

Favoritism in the pharmacy hurts morale and fairness. Gossip contributes to an unprofessional environment, and micromanagement makes it difficult to work independently. Since the current interim pharmacy manager took over, the department has become much more disciplinary, with a heavy focus on write-ups, even when employees are sick and provide a doctor’s note, which shows a lack of empathy toward employees. Opportunities for advancement appear limited, and the internal hiring process lacks communication, with some applications sitting for months without any update. It is also frustrating to see people hired based on personal connections or preference rather than qualifications, especially when qualified and hardworking employees are overlooked. The HMO insurance plan can also be frustrating, with long wait times and limited access to a primary care physician

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear the benefits, hospital coverage and relationships with caring coworkers have been meaningful parts of your experience. Team members who support one another and stay focused on patients make a real difference every day. We also take your concerns about leadership, fairness, communication and advancement seriously. A professional work environment depends on trust, consistency and clear expectations, and team members should feel that internal opportunities are handled with transparency and follow-up. If you haven’t yet, we encourage you to connect with Human Resources so your concerns about department culture, internal applications and growth opportunities can be discussed in more detail. Your feedback points to several areas that deserve attention, and we appreciate the thought you put into sharing it.
