Pros

I spent 20 years working for a small family owned company. I was nervous to make the switch to "corporate". I was so pleasantly surprised to find that Univest has all of the perks of a large corporation but without making me feel that I am just a number. The people here are the best to work with and I am so impressed that the higher ups in this company participate and interact with the employees. It really does have the feeling of a family here.

Cons

I would love to be able to work remotely even 1 day a week. I would also love to see standing desks be the norm.

Pros

Some of the co-workers are nice. You get holidays off. Health insurance is good. Other than that nothing really else is good.

Cons

Regional managers are ridiculous. Specially with the role plays for the sales. Unrealistic sales goals. They are always up your butt about telling customers about products. They care more about sales than the people. The pay sucks too.

Pros

Easy getting the job went to job fair and was interviewed, hired and started training within a week time period. The training was paid and didn't have to work a weekend for over a month.

Cons

The training wasn't sufficient for the expectations of the management of the branch I was hired for. I felt like anything I was told during the human resource part of training was true in the branch and when short staffed I had to clock out for lunch and couldn't leave and was often cut short if a customer came in for service, no breaks. The pay for the expectations was low as a college graduate again was told that I could get bonus every 3 mos but wasn't able to make it when tellers took credit points for their own bonus
