Thank you very much for your thoughtful review. We appreciate the feedback on our leadership team. Our leaders are genuinely concerned for the sustainable future of Upsher-Smith. This means decisions are well vetted to ensure they are doing what's best for the business. We're also a very collaborative organization, so it can seem as though decisions take time. Again, we're ensuring the immediate and future success of our business! Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback!

This place is a joke.

Pros

Getting hired is too easy and getting fired for multiple mistakes seems almost impossible. They host a handful of company events throughout the year. It's eight hour shifts with almost overtime. The facility is located right off of the freeway and next to the RTD.

Cons

The pay is below average and benefits are terrible. The place is overstaffed in manufacturing with not enough work to go around. A lot of qualified trainers don't know how to train and can't even do their own work correctly. There's only paid time off and no sick leave. They don't allow taking unpaid time off when there's no work. No prospect of career advancement or cross training. Most of the facility and equipment is outdated. HR is biased and a power abuser.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We take pay very seriously using a variety of national surveys to ensure we're paying fair market rates for our employees experience. We do the same with our benefits and evaluate frequently to remain competitive. We are sorry you left the company feeling so negatively about your tenure. Thank you for your honest review. We are sorry to hear that you feel our communication isn't aligned with your expectations. We do strive to share as much information as we can, when we can. We encourage you to attend all company meetings, leadership roundtables and bring any direct questions about the company or projects directly to your leadership team. We're trying to do much better as an organization with regard to Rewards and Recognition. Hopefully with the new roll out of USL Rewards, which makes it easier for peer to peer as well as team recognition, you will begin to see some changes there. Thank you for your contribution to Upsher-Smith!
