      Pros

      Upstart made me feel really welcome and part of the team throughout the interview and offer process. To start with, the recruiter was super accommodating with my interview timeline. She was very available and provided me loads of encouragement and background about my interviews. Once I cleared the interviews, I got to meet my entire team, including VP of engineering, founders and managers. This provided me excellent context about my role and expectations, the company's ethos, culture and their mission. All in all, I felt Upstart is a fantastic place to grow and build your career. In addition everyone was just so nice, humble, passionate and driven. A rare combination !

      Pros

      The professionalism and culture are what make this a great place to work at. The management team really listens to your goals and help you achieve them. Everyone is always willing to help and it makes me look forward to go to work each day.

      Cons

      Too many temps and not too many conversions.

      Pros

      Upstart is a great place to work. The team is wicked smart, great to work with and there are no ***holes. Management listen to what you say, everything is up to be changed if you suggest a better way and more importantly, they care. It's very transparent, you can see all the metrics of how well the business is doing in multiple TVs around the office, there are no secrets and everyone have an open door / open mind policy. Dogs are allowed and the environment is good. No politics. Snacks are pretty good.

      Cons

      Lunch used to be catered but isn't anymore.
