      Pros

      The professors are generally very good and make excellent PIs. It is a good place to earn a masters or PhD. The healthcare is also very good.

      Cons

      Upstate is a small place University, with no undergrads. This means that you do not have to TA. This is only a downside if you plan on teaching, since you will not get much experience for that.

      Set hours, No weekends, holidays, no on call, Mon-Fri schedule, fast paced clinic, lots of learning opportunities

      Cons

      Benefits are not that great, no sick time, Upstate employee but "hired by Medbest". Therefore benefits are not as good as they would be if you were a state or research employee
