      pay is low for NP- go elsewhere

      Pros

      I really do not see a pro -you can go anyplace and make the same amount of money and same benefits which is low for the level of education and responsibility required by NP's. They are willing to pay top heavy administers top dollar but not the staff that actually seeing patients.

      Cons

      heavy load of patients No room to increase your salary Upstate pushes more and more patients to a already crowed pt load - You do not get lunches, breaks or administration time to do charts- Staff is told if you do not take a lunch that is your fault. Yet you are yelled at if you get behind on patient visits that are scheduled non stop all day long.

      Security, local, bi weekly paycheck

      Cons

      Management only looks out for managments needs. If you are not a manager you will be used and abused and dont thin k of speaking up about. The Union is only concerned with its higher up members as well. They will always submit to the Universities needs in the end. As far as advancment...not a chance

      Good place to work. Highly recommend. WHy is Glassdor so difficult?

      No cons. I just want to see salaries for other companies, why do I have to do this and sign in and jump through 12 hoops just to do that??
