Pros

I worked at Radio One Philadelphia fresh out of college as a broad operator paying $10/hr. Then after 2 years, I applied for their online editor position making $45,000/year. It is a great experience for getting your foot through the door in the entertainment industry or for trying to enhance your digital portfolio. Lot of of article writing, social media creation, and video editing with interviews

Cons

$45K this day in age is just not enough money, but as an entry-level, it's good for the experience, if you can still live at home with your mom/family. Can be a lot of work at times because it's just you who is responsible for 4 websites, writing articles, creating content for 4 station with 4 platforms each, recording/editing interviews and performances, sending out daily email/text blast messages. It has it's perks, but also a lot of work.

Bad Benefits and Work/Life Balance is Horrible

Pros

Allows you to be creative in your solutions

Cons

Some of the worst benefits I have seen in decades. Most of the management is "Cruising" and riding on the tails of others. Technical support is supposed to carry the work load for many other departments. Its obvious that upper management's agenda is not aligned with the radio division anymore. Attrition rate is increasing at an alarming rate. Short Staffed so they work you into the ground while many "Work From Home".

If it seems too good to be true...

Pros

By far, the best perk is going to events.

Cons

They don't care about their employees. The company's primary concern is money. As long as they can use you to gain, they'll keep you. Otherwise, you're gone. There is toxicity in senior management, and they do absolutely nothing to protect employees from bullying or harassment.
