Life/work balance is great. UVU gives great flexibility with time off/vacation. People are great and you have great support from mgmt. If you are looking for stability, it a great place to work

Cons

Underpaid compared to similar positions on the market. UVU is a state school, so be prepared to sacrifice your pay. Position requirements are very high. Very hard to advance

Pros

Great co-workers. Very friendly environment because you see the same customers every day. Fun to work around airplanes. Pretty chill work when things are slow.

Cons

Mario (the boss) does not reward good work. He makes you do degrading tasks like emptying his trash, running errands for him when he is perfectly capable of doing it on his own, etc. Horrible pay for the work that we do and the education that we have. People on the top somehow keep getting raises while those of us on the front lines get jack.

Great place to work while earning a collage degree. Management was very understanding about tutors switching schedules in order meet school demands. Pay was fair for a part time position.

Difficult to increase hours during summer months
