Hi! Thanks so much for your review! We’re glad you appreciated the flexible hours, opportunities to learn new skills, and — most importantly — the chance to help animals. That mission is at the heart of everything we do. We hear you on the cleaning — it’s definitely a big part of the job, and we know it can be tiring. That said, it’s also essential to keeping our animals safe, healthy, and comfortable, so we truly appreciate the hard work that goes into it every day. Thanks again for your feedback, and for being part of the team!

Pros

Decent benefits. Wonderful place to work to interact with pets.

Cons

The pay does not match the expected duties. New hires are hired at a higher rate of pay than the existing employees. Management is horrible. The manager & assistant manager are rarely there. They lost a lot of clients due to price increases. They have a high turnover rate.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the benefits and enjoyed working with the pets — they really do bring something special to each day. We’re sorry to hear that your overall experience didn’t reflect the kind of workplace we strive to create. Concerns about pay equity, leadership presence, and turnover are serious, and we understand how those issues can impact both morale and the client experience. Your feedback has been shared with our leadership team, and we’re actively working on improvements in those areas. We truly value your input and the time you spent with us — thank you for being part of the team. Wishing you the best in your future endeavors!

Pros

Discounted services in-building; grooming, daycare/boarding and veterinary. Working with an array of cats and dogs.

Cons

Management and HR will not take criticism or feedback on long-time employees seriously; including reports of harassment or bullying. High turn-over rate (see point #1). No work-life balance.
