      Pros

      - company seems to really care about making relationships with clients - has organizations it works with to provide affordable adoption exams + new vaccines, etc - flexible for taking time off, even if more days than your "vacation" days as long as someone else can cover - good employee discounts - continued education for some employees - possible to pick up more shifts at other locations

      Cons

      - continued education is not very applicable to vet tech assistants. Only for technicians and vets - not much growth available for vet tech assistant

      Pros

      Every day is exciting. You never know what the day will bring. Being able to help people with their needs when they have a sick pet or concerns regarding regular exams gives me a good feeling. It's hard to have a bad day when you see some of your favorite fur pals come in.

      Cons

      The days you have to say good bye to an old friend.

      all the negatives of a big company with none of the perks

      Pros

      Job security, virtually impossible to get fired. flexible schedule , great pet discount nice people to work with. Awesome meeting locations twice a year.

      Cons

      Lack of fairness / integrity of upper management. People are promoted based not on job performance but based on how much kool aide they drink. Free thinking and ideas are not encouraged.
