Pros
- Team members were kind and supportive considering we were all being taken advantage of. - Practically no limits on working from home if you weren’t doing fieldwork.
Cons
Despite no formal job training at VHB, but years of experience in adjacent fields, total pay did not match expectations placed on me. I was expected to know how to form sensitive legal documents after being sent one or two examples via email. I had to figure a lot of things out on my own, costing the company valuable time and money. Field work expectations are never made clear. A perceived 8-hour field day commonly turns into 14 hours. Management didn’t listen to my concerns and boundaries despite reiterating them multiple times.
